Katie Rainsberger of Air Academy won the Nike Cross Nationals the past season in 16 minutes, 56.8 seconds and did not lose a race. She won Colorado’s Class 4A championship in a record 17:39, her second in her career (along with two runners-up showings) and led her Kadets to the team title. She also won the Nike Cross Regional in 17:07. Rainsberger will run for Oregon.
